TIMELESS: ICONS OF THONET

For its most recent campaign we took Thonet’s iconic pieces to the canals and calli of Venice: a first for the fabled furniture maker. The images were used in print advertising in magazines including Wallpaper and AD, as well as being compiled in a stand-alone brochure – proving that Thonet’s designs are on par with La Serenissma’s beautiful backdrops.

VENETIAN SHADOW PLAY

While navigating the canals of Venice by boat, we scoured for the perfect locations to showcase Thonet’s iconic pieces, from the Marcel Breuer chairs to Thonet’s signature bentwood designs. Once in place, the distinctive shapes of the furniture create fascinating shadows, enhanced by the ethereal light of the Venetian Lagoon.
